Hello, my name is Deborah Rafferty-Maple. Welcome to Deborah’s Daycare! Deborah’s Daycare is unique in many exciting ways! First, we follow the school calendar and are ideally structured for teachers and their families. We open in late August/early September and close for the summer in mid June. We are also closed for school vacations. Second, Deborah’s Daycare is truly a family daycare that includes my own young children. It is a warm, safe, happy, structured and stimulating environment for infants to school age children. Daily activities are geared toward developing gross and fine motor skills and are tailored to your child’s age and educational level. Activities also focus on developing appreciation for art, reading and music. During the day, your child will participate in free and structured indoor and outdoor playtime and be offered many great opportunities to develop social skills and explore individually. We also travel to local parks, libraries and museums and enjoy special events including apple picking, pumpkin picking and holiday sight seeing. Finally, I am ideally located just around the corner from the Heritage School and Charlton Middle School, and just minutes from Charlton Elementary, Bay Path Vocational High School and from Oxford Center! I have tremendous energy and enjoy taking an active role in the social and educational development of the children in my care. I received a bachelors degree in 1992 and worked for many years in the corporate world. Because of this, I appreciate and understand the importance of balancing family and career and the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your child is in a safe healthy child care environment. |
