Cat & Fiddle Family Childcare, proud to be a Level 2 QRIS rated program, welcomes all children, infant to school-age. My program offers many opportunities for exploration, creativity and imaginary play. We focus on improving daily living skills, motor and socialization skills and enjoy daily reading activities to increase literary skills. The curriculum your child follows is tied in with the Mass Guidelines for Preschool Learning and is based on the children's interests. Children are observed and assessed to make sure they are on the correct developmental track and prepared for kindergarten.
For over 16 years, I have provided continuous care and am dedicated to this career. In 2010 I earned my Early Childhood Education Associate degree, a Lead Teacher - Preschool certification, renewed my CDA, and continued my fourth year as an official MA Universal pre-kindergarten site. I have received five state grants, the most recent was the 2011 QRIS grant. Funds were used to to improve program quality and install a wonderful outdoor play area which meets the standards of the FCCERS rating scale.
